Hartlepool School is situated on the outskirts of the town in a purpose built centre. As a registered DCSF Special School
with a capacity of 24 pupils the school can provide specialised support for young people with emotional, behavioural and
learning difficulties. Young people aged 11–16 may enter the school at any time during the academic year.

The school also has on–vocational training facilities including a hair and beauty salon and construction skills equipment and training areas.
