Continuum Care & Education Group provide residential and educational services to children throughout the UK. We currently have 9 academic and vocational schools nationwide including one in Stansted and intend to establish two further flagship EBD facilities in Harlow. Schools are registered for boys and girls aged between 9 and 17 on admission and therefore candidates should have experience of at least two of the respective three key stages. We are looking to recruit the following positions –

QUALIFIED TEACHERS – GENERAL SUBJECTS – FULL & PART TIME VACANCIES – HARLOW

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to work with vulnerable young people within our schools. We require candidates to either have a relevant teaching qualification and/or experience of working with challenging young people who are in need of some positive experiences in life. We can be flexible relating to hours and subjects but a resilient “can do” attitude is essential.

ATTENDANCE & INTERGRATION OFFICER – FULL TIME – ACROSS BASILDON & HARLOW

The principle role will be to maintain an overview of attendance levels, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring appropriate intervention strategies.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS – FULL TIME – BASILDON & HARLOW
The role is to assist teachers in planning and preparing schemes of work within the general curriculum guidance. Duties will include providing individual support to young people and assisting teaching staff in the delivery of lessons.

EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR X 2 – PART TIME – HARLOW
This post requires a well organised individual to provide an excellent administrative service to the school. Main duties include dealing with all telephone enquiries, handling complaints, photocopying and distribution of paperwork, diary management, office filing and all other administrative duties. Must adhere to child protection laws and maintain strict confidentiality.

LUNCHTIME ASSISTANTS – PART TIME
These positions are to assist our team at the school with supervising the young people at lunch times. The role will also include preparing sandwiches and other catering duties.

REGISTERED HOME MANAGERS – FULL TIME – ESSEX
Salary dependant on skills, knowledge and experience
We are looking for a Registered Homes Manager to a small children’s home with young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. Candidates will need to have two years of working with young people and have completed NVQ 4 in Care or Management. Ideally candidates will have one year supervisory experience.
